Cheltenham Town Hall
11th September 2021

The Cheltenham International Beer Festival will operate a digital currency for the event, to ensure speed of service, increased security and ease of transactions at the exhibitor stands.

Most importantly, there will be reduced need to wait in lines, counting out coins to buy a beer, as your friends get thirsty for your round! As such, all food, merchandise and drinks purchased at the festival will need to be paid for using the simple, tap-and-go Festival Currency Wristbands.

Purchase your digital currency on-line via our website, a receipt will be emailed to you and the digital RFID wristbands will then be given to you on arrival at the festival.

Brewing is our life, beer is our water so don’t waste time drinking all kind of other things which won’t make your life better.

Along with a commemorative glass and programme each ticket holder gets access to the entire beer festival site for a 5 hour session (5 hours on Friday Evening!) and two 5 hour sessions on Saturday along with music stage – with live acts and DJs, retro gaming and a food market.

  • You will need to purchase tokens to buy beer and food at the festival.
  • Tokens come in £5, £1 and 50p denominations …and it is like for like. A £5 token is worth £5 of real money, £1 token is worth £1 of real money and so on…
